KU Virtual Summer Programs 2021
This year, the KU will offer its Eichstätt Summer School as a brand new virtual program. Thanks to our vast experience with innovative digital teaching and learning formats, we will offer participants the opportunity of an intensive German program with a personal atmosphere, professional teachers, exciting workshops and many entertaining virtual activities and discussions. What will be new and different this year is that the KU Summer School is also suitable for absolute beginners. We offer German courses from levels A1 to B2, complemented by workshops and social activities as well as interactions with German students. The duration is four weeks (100 course hours), this means that participants will receive an official Transcript of Records worth 5.0 ECTS (or 6.0 US credits) upon successful completion.
The French Embassies in Austria, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia organize the first edition of the online event "Your PhD in France".
This event will take place from January 19th to February 3rd and will consist of a series of webinars. We will start with a general webinar to get you acquainted with the research landscape in France and the basics of doctoral studies, including funding opportunities. 4 thematic webinars will follow, on the following topics: Natural Sciences, Social Sciences, Health and Life sciences and Artificial Intelligence applied to Environment.
During these webinars, you will be able to listen to, meet and ask questions to representatives of Doctoral Schools in French universities, Campus France, Alumni and other important French stakeholders. If you want to know more about research in France, are considering enrolling in a PhD Program abroad or simply spending some time abroad for your research project, this event is for you! France is a world leader in scientific research and we will give you all the information you need to experience it!
The programme of our first webinar, "The basics of research and doctoral studies in France", January 19th at 5pm, will include:
• A presentation and tips on doctoral schools, enrollment, research opportunities, funding, etc. by Aude Chanson, head of the Research Unit at Campus France and Melike Riollet, International Affairs Manager at Association Bernard Gregory
• An interview of Veronika Leláková, who recently graduated in the frame of a PhD joint supervision between France and the Czech Republic
• A question and answer session

Letnia Szkoła EERA, 2021 (online)
Serdecznie zapraszamy doktorantów do udziału w letniej szkole EERA (European Educational Research Association), organizowanej w tym roku online w dniach od 14 do 16 czerwca 2021 r., przez University of Jyväskylä i Fińskie Towarzystwo Badań Oświatowych (FERA). Celem tegorocznej szkoły (pod hasłem "Beyond the Basics in Educational Research Methodology: Research ethics in educational research") jest udzielanie wsparcia metodologicznego doktorantom w przygotowywanych przez nich projektach badawczych, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem aspektów etycznych prowadzonych badań.
Konferencja ECER (Geneva), 2021 (online)
Serdecznie zapraszamy badaczy edukacyjnych do udziału w konferencji ECER (European Conference on Educational Research), która w tym roku odbędzie się online w dniach od 2 do 3 września 2021 r. (młodzi badacze) i od 6 do 10 września 2021 r. (badacze na każdym szczeblu kariery). Tematem przewodnim konferencji jest "Education and Society: expectations, prescriptions, reconciliations."
Online language exchange
Dear students! An exciting new project the University of Granada's Centro de Lenguas Modernas (CLM) has set in motion. The Covid-19 pandemic is bringing about a new and uncertain scenery in the field of study abroad and international mobility programs. It is particularly affecting second language learning. As one of the leading centers in the teaching of Spanish language and culture at an international level, we are determined to keep responding to the learning needs and demands of our international students as well as those of our partner programs and universities.
With this in mind, we have decided to launch a program of free online language exchange sessions open to students from all over the world.
